About Us
Vision
RTSA has a legacy of inspiring and nurturing the next generation of talented performing arts professionals. The shows we create combine innovative theatrical technology, creative minds and a technically trained production team with considerable performance experience and expertise. We bring new, high-quality and ambitious productions to the Rotherham audiences.
History
RTSA was founded in 2002 by our Director and Choreographer, Dee Bennie-Marshall. RTSA is a group for youths aged 8 to 21 which brings innovative productions to the Rotherham Theatres. The group only work with professional scenery, orchestra and production teams who ensure that our members are trained, guided and mentored so they can excel either through pursuing a career in performing arts or continuing with it as a hobby.
Our production team is passionate about the shows they create and give the cast 100% commitment. We love our existing members and hold auditions twice per year for new members. We also welcome new volunteers who would like to work with our group behind the scenes in staging, costumes and make-up.
